this is about the sun exploding and the eight minutes plus it would take for the disaster to reach us. yes, I know that by the time the sun runs its course we wont be around to engage in the songs poetic reflections but I didn't think it through. perhaps I should have used a solar flare as the apocalypse but, as you may know, i'm better at music than I am at speculatively accurate armageddons.
but it now occurs to me that this version is the instrumental so let's not worry about it.
